Hiya, my name is Samuel! I’m a trans and autistic junior artist that started tattooing in 2023, and I have been drawing funky little creatures and critters for as long as I can remember!
As a kid, I spent all of my time filling sketchbook after sketchbook with my own imagined beasts and stories, and it was my dream for the longest time to be an animator or children’s picture book illustrator. These days I have the privilege and honour of bringing memories and stories to life on skin in the form of tattoos!
I am enamoured by all kinds of folklore, mythical creatures and legends, as well as everything to do with the natural world. From the stars and constellations, to the fish in the sea, to all of the tiny little bugs clinging to a leaf somewhere, even to the critters only found in your imagination, I love them all!
In my practice, my favourite pieces are those that feel like a collaboration between myself and the client, I truly feel that bringing those treasured ideas to life is a dream come true! As a trans and neurodivergent person, I strive to ensure a comfortable and inclusive environment for my clients, all bodies no matter the size, shape or colour are welcomed with open arms!
