DO YOU ACCEPT WALK INS? 

Yes! We accept walk in's at both our Dulwich Hill and Haymarket studios.

Please look at the bottom of the site to view the location of both of our studios!

CAN I GET TATTOOED IF I AM UNDER 18?

No, at our studio we do not take clients under 18, even with a parent's letter of consent.

We recommend waiting until you are 18 and over.

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT ? CAN I GET A WALK-IN TATTOO?

It is best to book in an appointment through the shop or directly with your desired artist.

You can call the shop in advance to see if we can fit you in.

DO I HAVE TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITH ANY ARTIST?

Yes. A deposit of $100 is required to secure an appointment time with any artist.

​

IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT, DO I GET A REFUND ON MY DEPOSIT?

Each of our artists have their own cancellation/rescheduling policy so please check with the artist you are booking in with. For general inquiries, if you are to cancel more than 1 week from your appointment, you will be refunded your deposit. However, if you are to cancel within 1 week of your appointment, we will not refund your deposit.

WHAT'S YOUR ACCESSIBILITY INFO?

Our Dulwich Hill studio is located 1 level above a cafe.

We have a one flight of steps that leads into a spacious waiting/reception area.

The tattooing area is an open floor plan and also we provide mobile partitions for each tattoo station for privacy.

Our Haymarket studio is located on level 2, up a flight of stairs. 

Unfortunately, there is no lift access for either studio.​

WHAT SHOULD I DO ON THE DAY OF MY TATTOO?

Please be sure to bring PHOTO ID.

Eat a good meal before your appointment (within 4 hours of the start of your appointment).

You are also welcomed to bring along snacks.

Wear something comfortable so we can access the tattoo area easily.

The day before your session, please refrain from from having any alcohol or illicit drugs

as this weakens your immune system and makes the process rough on your body.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Yes! We understand getting a tattoo can be a little nerve racking! If you need that support person; bring them along!

​

HOW DO I PURCHASE A GIFT VOUCHER?

After placing an order please bank transfer the amount you would like to put on the gift voucher and email us proof of payment to kayagardentattoo@gmail.com.

Once we've received the receipt we will send you a confirmation email.

For tattoo vouchers we post via stamp mail. 

Pick is also available from either of our 2 studio locations.

Alternatively, we can send you a digital copy of the gift voucher. 

 

STORE SHIPPING

All of our orders are carefully packed and shipped via Australia Post.

For merch, we ship using Parcel Post with a standard flat rate shipping fee of $10 AUD. ​​

For international orders, please email us if you would like to order merch and we can directly contact you via email to get your order sorted!

We are located a 13 minute walk from Dulwich Hill Light Rail and Train station.

There is plenty of street parking around the studio, and free 2 hour car park just around the corner on Seaview St.
